You should ask your county these things and then ask Johnson what follows below.

Things to ask the county.

I am very busy trying to save my country, maybe you can save the county. Ask them not to raise taxes under any circumstance. The economy is about to collapse under the spending and you will need every penny for food and gas.

Instead of the executive branch getting a 13% increase to over $2 million dollars, ask that it be cut back to $500,000 or less and use the money saved for the police department.

Under no circumstances let them cut the police force. When the economy collapses you will need them! Plus, increased crime means decreased property values, which means less tax income, which means higher taxes. It will be an unending circle. A good police officer is hard to find and train, do not let them go.

I really like the various county services, I lived in Taxachusetts, so I know bad service. imho, Our sanitation department is great, I would not like to see anyone laid off, I would be willing to go to 1 day a week for garbage collection during the cold months when it would not stink as bad. Just an idea on cost savings.

Do NOT let them borrow more money for the country and ESPECIALLY for the water department. They doubled the water rates and now they want to borrow an astronomical amount of money. Do not let them do it. Pay as you go, they already are raking in the money. If you want to cut some costs, do it there.

Local government as well as the Federal has to stop borrowing money and spending what it does not have.

Things to ask Johnson.

With the prospect of DeKalb raising our taxes to pay for our schools and everything else, here are some things to ask.

1) Did you vote for the stimulus bill.

2) Ask him how fair was it and why it was not a waste of $1.1 BILLION dollars to fund the whole school department of a city in Obama's home state?

3) How many jobs did that really create?

4) Why should our taxes go up, while we fund probably the whole cost of another city's school system.
